All classes are open to all sewing machine brands unless it is a BERNINA specific class. You must have a good working knowledge of your sewing machine and it must be in good working condition. We look forward to having you join us.

Accent triangles bracket squares of print fabrics in these vertical strings of lanterns. The design was planned to let prints shine, though pieced scrappy blocks, crumb blocks or embroidered blocks replacing the print squares would be interesting variations. All angles are achieved with stitch-and-flip (snowballed corners) construction, creating a complex design while cutting only squares. The quilt pattern gives directions for either baby or throw size.

In this class we will make a lovely strip quilt top and you will learn some new techniques. Key West was originally designed for the 2018 Quilter's Quest. In the first class, we will discuss fabric selection, supplies and design ideas. You will only need to bring a notebook. The remaining classes will be sit and sew classes.
