Supply List:
2 1/2 yards of cotton fabric - A light color or tone-on-tone fabric recommended. Floral fabrics are not recommended.
Cotton batting - 40" x 40" piece
1 - spool of dark color quilting thread. You want a high contrast from your fabric. I recommend King Tut
90 topstitch needle
Machine in good working order. Make sure you can drop the feed dogs on your machine.
Free motion foot or BSR foot if you have one.
Walking or Even Feed foot
Small pair of scissors
Several empty bobbins
Safety pins
Quilting gloves - optional but highly recommended
Something to take notes with
Your lunch and a beverage
Prior to class:
Cut your fabric in half to make (2) approximately 42" x 44" pieces and press
